Everyday I talk to a lot of people who are interested in learning Hoodoo but also want their magic done correctly.  These folks are starting out and they are afraid that they might screw something up if they do a ritual from start to finish.  This always bothered me because I am a believed in that proverb: "Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you will feed him for the rest of his life."  I like it when folks try to do magic on their own.  So, I am proud to present my answer to this dilemma--DIY Bottle Spells!  Well, *sort of* DIY bottle spells.  If you would like a honey jar, break up bottle, or other bottle fixed and prepared for you so that you know its been done right but you are also game for working a bottle yourself, this is the way to go.  I will prepare a bottle spell for you using the best herbs, roots, minerals, and curios available.  If you have personal concerns I will include them and I will write your petition for you too.  On top of that, your customized bottle spell will sit on my altar and I will work it for TWO WEEKS!  Then, I will send you the bottle, along with half a dozen candles and a custom blended half dram bottle of oil so that you can keep the work going at home.  Its an awesome deal and an awesome service and I am thrilled to be able to offer it to my fabulous clients!

Back in the Office and Mini Bottle Spells!

I am back in the office after two quick trips.  Candle and Ritual work reports will be coming out over the next few days as fast as I can get them typed.  Thank you all for your patience!  Also, as a professional root worker I always have a few mostly empty bottles of those fabulous Lucky Mojo oils laying around.  One might wonder--what to do with them?  Well, in my case I make these bottles available to clients for mini bottle spells!  I take the bottle of oil and depending on the condition will write out a petition for your situation, add personal concerns if I have them, as well as herbs, roots, and curios appropriate to whatever it is we are working on.  The best part is that I will work these bottle spells for two weeks on your behalf and then ritually dispose of them.  Currently, the bottles I have available are: Fast Luck, Attraction, and Uncrossing.  If you are interested in one of these conditions and believe that your situation might benefit from an extra added "oomph!" then please contact me for details.

Over the past few weeks I have spoke to many clients who are having a hard time finding work and/or keeping the work they have had.  Fortunately, many of these stories have had happy endings--often assisted by a little magic and some practical advice.  If you or someone you know is in this situation I highly recommend Lucky Mojo's Steady Work sachet powder.  This highly versatile products can be sprinkled on resumes, letters, and other paper materials that go from your hands into the hands of a potential employer or current boss.  Steady Work has been known to give a situation an extra boost and get people the jobs they are after or keep them secure in the jobs they are in. 

Put some sugar in your bowl

This is a great little variant on the honey jar spell for those who cannot or do not want to burn candles in their work.

You will need:
1 glass bottle or jar
Sugar
Cinnamon Stick
Dried Red Rose petals
Dried lavender
Dried cubeb berries
Dried Damiana
Cardamom seeds
petition paper (can be photograph or name paper)
LMC Love Me Oil
LMC Dixie Love Oil and Incense powder
LMC Come to Me or Kiss Me Now! oil

Write out your name paper as you would for a honey jar spell.  Anoint it with a blend of all three oils and set it aside.
Blend the sugar with the rose petals, lavender, cubeb berries, damiana, and cardamom seeds.  (This is one of many love drawing blends that I use, you can substitute herbs more fitted to your situation as you will.)  For more information, check out miss cat yronwode's book Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic.

Add the Dixie Love Incense powder to the blend, lightly anoint the cinnamon stick with the oils and then stir the blend with the cinnamon stick clockwise, praying for your romantic desire as you do so.  Pour the contents into your bottle or jar, add the cinnamon stick and your name paper.  Shake the bottle as you speak out loud your prayers and romantic desires.  Repeat as often as you like.  When you have finished working the bottle you may bury it in your backyard (for a loving, committed, and faithful partnership) or dispose of it at the crossroads if you are not with that partner any longer and wish to disperse the work.
