Finally I have had the time to load in all the new Lucky Mojo inventory that I picked up while I was out there! There are a bunch of new herbs and a couple of new spell kits to check out--so when you get a chance, do so!

As most of ya'll know, I am a founding member of AIRR. Our group started out as a handful of people but it has been growing at a steady clip! I am especially happy to announce our two newest members: Momma Hen and ConjureMan Ali.
ConjureMan Ali is already well know by those who frequent the Lucky Mojo forum as he is a moderator there and has provided some great magical coaching for folks looking for answers.
Momma Hen is my favorite AIRR member because she's my mom! She has over 45 years of experience working in various fields of divination and magic, taught me much of what I know, and is an excellent healer for both people and animals. I am so happy that we are colleagues in AIRR and that her services will be available to such a wide number of people--I sure benefited from having her influence in my life and I know that others will too. Love you Mom!
Well, its been less than a week since I have been back in the office but happily I have been able to upload most of the new inventory to the Milagro Roots webstore. Vigil Candle reports and Ritual reports have gone out to most clients, and my altars are already humming as we head into the second half of October! There are new oils, sachet powders, bath crystals, and spell kits to play with as well as the return of some old-time favorites. The one section that has not been completely updated is the Herbs--I brought a bunch of new ones home from Lucky Mojo. Watch for that in the next week!
After being gone for two long weeks I am finally back home and settling back in! Although office hours don't resume until Friday I am doing my best to catch up on candle and ritual reports as well as taking orders. The trip to Lucky Mojo was as always amazing. I really consider the entire gang up there extended family, so it is worthwhile to see them any time but the apprenticeship week makes it even more wonderful. This week we learned about herbs, candles, washes and waters. Along with cat's phenomenal lectures there is the hands-on practicum part of the apprenticeship program and there is also show and tell where we get to see cat's fantastic collection of Hoodoo and Magical ephemera from ages past. The above picture shows a variety of herb boxes and packets that were sold in both magical catalogues as well as almanacs.
Then it was back to work! The apprenticeship program is not paid for by students--we earn our keep by working for the shop while we are there. Our work-study for the herbs portion of the week included making a large batch of 13 Herb Bath, which we mixed in a big bath tub!
And we also got to see some fantastic root curios in their natural state like this nest of Devil's Shoestring! It was a fabulous week of learning and I so thank everyone who made it possible. Now I am back home, Texas is starting to feel autumnal, the baby is kicking happily, and I am celebrating my 30th birthday today--life is pretty swell. May you all be equally blessed!
